Apparently I’ve snoozed on the magic of dry-aged fish for way too long. This past weekend my friends and I had the most incredible meal made possible by a small haul from the Joint Eatery: Chu Toro (plenty of fat and marbling) Buri (adult yellowtail) Kanpachi (amberjack) Ora King Salmon Scallops All dry-aged and absolutely scrumptious. Highly, highly recommend.

First time in LA, came here because it was one of the few local places with oysters. Oysters were delicious and very fresh. So happy to discover this place, the hand rolls were incredible especially tuna and salmon. Great service and kind staff. 11/10

The Chef at the joint has been breaking new ground in aged fish. Aging fish gives it new/different flavors profiles and was a great experience in getting to try all the new work being done to create something new. The fish and hand rolls were great. I ate las much as I could and tried as much as possible. It was a great experience and tasting.

The only place in Southern California that makes good smoked Whitefish Dip. Now they also have an amazing selection of fish and a killer coffee shop too. Definitely stop here for a tub of the dip and all your seafood needs ...

Pretty good spot to grab coffee from. They have some really unique coffee. I got their Nitro Cold Brew which was average and my wife got their cinnamon latte which she said was amazing. The Barista was good at her job but not to friendly. I don’t know if it’s the Covid or what. Definitely want to come back and try it again.

This is solely a review of the coffee. Their coffee is delicious, with no bitterness and no acid reflux. The facility is very clean, and I will 100% be back for the seafood and dry aged steak.

Next level fish market is here. Dry aged fish tastes better, the texture is better, and looks better. I like to get coffee, smoked fish, and sometimes hand rolls.
